「The staff was friendly, the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The view was good too. The only bummer was pet hair on the sofa, but I just relaxed on the bed.」

「We visit Salida around 10 times a year for quick getaways and this is our go to motel. Rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable and the hot tub is a dream after skiing or after a day on the river. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. We love that we are also a very short stroll from our favorite Mexican restaurant in Salida, Casa Calaca.」

「The balcony view was beautiful. It's open, making it easy to connect with other guests. The space is quiet, clean, and faces the mountains at the back of the property. We especially enjoyed watching the many hummingbirds at the active feeders. One downside is that there's no way to control the temperature in the room. One of us slept well, while the other woke up feeling hot. If you prefer a cooler sleeping environment, consider bringing a portable fan—and don’t forget an extension...
