「The only reason that I didn't give them four stars is that there was so much light on the front of the building that you could not sit on the chairs and see any stars. I assumed that a place called dark skies would have lights that are motion sensored or more dim so that you could take in the night sky, so we walked about a block down the road to see the stars. 「It was a really nice place. In our case there was no one else there so we were able to hang out in the main downstairs area which was pretty nice. The staff we needed help from were very responsive as well. I honestly would recommend staying here as the views from the front porch at night and during sunset are amazing!」

「A gem of a motel in Canon City! The decor was so nice, and the mattress was very comfortable. They had a nice Continental breakfast reminiscent of Europe! The coffee was quite good...not typically the case at most motels/hotels. We brought our bikes, and this motel is very close to the bike trails that we rode and the main street with numerous shops and restaurants. The staff was so friendly and nice. Overall, very impressed and will return! 」
