「After two and a half weeks on the road Hart's was a breath of fresh air for my last night away from home. All the staff were great and the hotel is lovely. I especially enjoyed a quiet drink in the garden after dinner. Dinner and breakfast were great, expensive but, the quality of the food and the cooking justify's the cost. The only very minor issue is the lack of air conditioning in the room so it was on the warm side. However, I stayed during the tail end of a heat wave. I'm assuming that...

「The staff could not have been more helpful, I had to be admitted to hospital yesterday evening and my partner called the hotel who were so kind and understanding when it transpired that my belongings might need to be set aside. the lady who staffed the breakfast serving was so patient and smiley giving terrific customer service. 「We had a really good stay at this hotel, the breakfast was one of the best we've had, the best selection and very tasty. The evening meal was also beautiful, can't fault any of the food. Family room was large and huge bed, but disappointed in the lack of air conditioning and the shower quality. It was a bit disappointing hearing one of the waitresses at the breakfast entrance talk to the younger staff in a very rude manner. Bit of a chip on her shoulder as all the staff who we seen cleared...

「Great for Peak District, lively pub with atmospheare...well prepared food at reasonanle prices and nice and quiet after 11 or so.... full breakfast with options. Really enjoyed a one nighr stop and would return whrn next out hiking!」
