"Handy hotel for Derby rail station, with an easy walk into the centre. Friendly staff, particularly HK, and a clean comfortable room.
Would happily return the next time I stay in Derby."
"Newly renovated rooms, great breakfast options and friendly staff with local knowledge highly recommended hotel to stay looking forward to returning "
"Excellent location, beautiful hotel and grounds. Highly recommend it. We stayed while visiting Chatsworth House. It was a great place to stay while in the area!"
"This was a small hotel, clean and thankfully no other people coming and going as iur room was right next to front entrance.
Very clean, but extremely tiny. Luggage had to bevtucked away. Very clean, but very over priced for the size of the room. "

Overlooking a lake, the spire of the Trent Building is one of Nottingham’s most distinctive sites, representing over 135 years of higher education in the city.
"Very clean room and bathroom. Fresh decoration, breakfast was OK but a little dry as it had been sitting out for guests for a while. Service was very friendly for the whole stay. Will definitely visit again when in the area."
"My partner and I booked a standard family room for 2 nights. The room was clean and spacious, the view from the window was really good and you could see all of Nottingham. The staff were very friendly and helpful during the stay and offered to keep our bags after check out for an extra £2 which helped for transport times. We tried the food in the lobby (pollo pizza) which was made fresh and tasted good, the price was £15 which might be a lot of a pizza but I think worth it.
The local area around the hotel was calm and safe, with lots of business around e.g., tesco, pubs, sainsbury's, cinemas and town centre. The bathroom was a bit small but not an issue for such a small stay.
Overall, definitely worth the money as it was cheap but good standards "
