"Excellent hotel, with great restaurant!"

"Beautiful property, amazing staff and great location!"

"The stay at Forest Lake was absolutely perfect. Do yourself the biggest service and DO NOT MISS the dinner by Chef Joao. He created such a wonderful menu that holds up to any Michelin restaurant (hint: this place deserves at least two!)."

"The room was clean but the building we stayed in had a strange smell that lingered in the room the whole time we were there. It was a good room for one night. I liked how they had a small kitchenette in the room with a good size fridge/freezer. The pool looked nice but we didn’t have time to swim. The staff was very friendly when checking in and out. We had a hard time finding a good restaurant by the hotel so we found ourselves driving to the next town over to eat our meals. It had a good size...

"Beautiful stay and wonderful staff!"

"Exceptional place to stay. Clean, professional and caring staff; can’t wait to come back. "

"The blue penthouse was outstanding. The daily cleaning and breakfast were amazing perks. Access to the beach was a real plus. Morning adventures and afternoon by the beach made an amazing holiday. The property thinks of everything beach towels concierge services."

"Lovely place to stay, beautiful gardens - our kids loved the pool."

"Property is well located however the room we had was full of mold. The shared kitchen was dirty and the living room also had mold on the walls. We tried to get a different room since we were staying there for 7 nights. Only after 4 days did they tell us that they would allow us to cancel for the remainder of our stay and give us the money back. Unfortunately since it was last minute we could not find anything reasonable and had not choice but to stay. Disappointing that guestready did not...

"The staff were exceptionally helpful."

"Great accommodation for families with a pool, a dog and a nice restaurant. All sights on Sao Miguel are easily to reach by car. "

"A very comfortable and practical place to stay. The full kitchen was a great asset for us. The cliffs right outside the door are amazingly beautiful. It’s wonderful to be able to stroll along the cliffs at sunset."

"Beautiful property overlooking Velas harbor…don’t hesitate to book!"

"Loved it! So close to the boat harbor and restaurants. Located in downtown area. Big minder. Spacious apartment and lovely staff."
