My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon. One of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Excellent location in the heart of Ponta Delgado, walking distance to all the great restaurants. They handled our car rental for us, making it super easy (and getting us a great deal!). They have indoor parking available but it’s limited so request a spot early! The breakfast is delivered to your room daily and it’s very tasty, you can customize it as you’d like. The staff were the best part, very friendly and accommodating! Jose checked us in and had some excellent restaurant recommendations, but the whole staff made the stay great and were all very friendly! We were there in March and the weather wasn’t very friendly but they do have a rooftop pool and lounging area, plus a dry and wet sauna! Will definitely be staying there again and highly recommend if you’re visiting Sao Miguel Island!

Room very clean and smelled great! Check in process easy and very communicative from staff. Was only there for a night with early am flight but they made sack lunch/breakfast for me which was thoughtful. Best part in the lobby there’s a kitty he run the place :) Will definitely book again

Our stay was outstanding. This is our second time at Casa da Galeria, and we were, again, totally impressed. Our apartment was superb. Every member of the team is diligent, helpful, generous with their time, etc.: they are really outstanding - every single one of them. (Even the cat, Host, is cheerful and friendly.) The breakfasts (served in the apartment at the time of our choosing) are extraordinarily good. I used the mini-gym regularly and it was great. (They also have a pool and a sauna.) Wi-fi worked beautifully. If we come back to Ponta Delgada, we will certainly re-book at the Casa. We recommend it without reservation for anyone looking for a modern, clean, well-organized and quiet place. This is a gem, really! Thank you to Marlene, Beatrix, Cristina and Venilia for having made our stay such a wonderful experience.

Excellent studio concept rooms, c/w functional kitchen, dining are, living area, king-size bed, access to sauna and small pool on the roof. Exquisite design renovation of an old building located central to cultural attractions, museums, gardens, etc. Two free parking areas not far from the hotel, or three free spots on site, subject to availability.

Super Service Powered by Marlene ​Forget the concierge desk—Marlene is the real superpower at this hotel. Fantastic staff!! Absolutely the best! Super helpful and friendly - and further bolstered by Mr Host, the house cat.!. He’s very handsome and friendly! We arrived late and the receptionist stayed 30 min late to help us find the hotel and also the parking garage. The location is great - everywhere in the city is walkable. The room was quiet, clean and large! We had a fantastic 3-night stay.

What an absolute gem of a property. All of the staff we encountered were absolutely phenomenal. The rooms and common areas, clean and modern - the communication, first-rate. The hotel is on a fairly busy street so there was some road/traffic noise however that’s hardly the fault of the hotel. Wish we could have stayed longer however sadly, they were fully booked.

Great hospitality experience! Staffs are very helpful and friendly! They allowed early check-in for us so that we’d have some rest from our long flight. We love their breakfast, cleanliness, and ambiance! The only issue we had there was the shower door that didn’t close very well and caused some leaks on the floor. But they provided us with extra towels to keep our bathroom floor dry.

A great boutique hotel! 10 star service!

I loved everything about my stay at Casa da Galeria. The location in Ponta Delgada is perfect and the rooms are spacious, well-appointed, modern, and clean. But what puts them over the top is their service. They helped us with directions, arranged taxis, and generally made sure we had everything we needed on our stay. I would highly recommend it!

We loved our stay here! The staff was amazing! The rooms were small suites with great amenities. The quality of the breakfast delivered to our room every morning was an unexpected surprise. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do during our short visit. We would definitely stay again!
