「Beautiful friendly people. Rooms are clean., although older. the pool/sauna should stay open until 10 or 11 because by the time we would get back to our room after spending the day exploring the beautiful island it was closed. Very disappointed we only used the pool once in 7 days. Need a bit more variety of food at the breakfast buffet. The pillows that they keep using over & over again for different guests should be replaced or laundered for health reasons.」

「Welcoming and helpful staff, comfy beds, beautiful grounds and views and so much peace and quiet! We stayed in early April and the weather was beautiful but unpredictable (as usual in the Azores) and our room stayed a comfortable temperature the entire time without using the thermostat. The only change I'd make is more variety at breakfast and more opportunity to try the Azorean beef at dinner! 」

「Excellent Hotel with amazing staff, cannot fault them, but they do have an issue with meals for anyone outside of a large & planned group. If you don't mind simple food laden with cheese, then the Pool Bar is fine. If you want something before 8.30pm, then you have to go outside the Hotel. After 8.30pm, you can choose from the a la carte menu, which is exceptional. Anything in between, they cannot cater to you. Again, though, the staff is superb, first class. They will try to accommodate...

「Excellent location. Beautful views. Great breakfast. Wonderful staff, very helpful and accomodating. Wonderful spa. You have to book in advance. I would suggest that they open more hours to accomodate everyone. Highly recommend. Compared to other hotels we stayed in while travelling in Portugal, it was a little higher. I would still stay there again.」
