Beautiful pool and terrace. Helpful staff. Our suite was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed the ocean view balcony. Our kids loved the games room and both pools. Breakfast was very enjoyable with lots of options. Highly recommend.

We stayed in a jr King suite. The view was spectacular and the room was spacious with all the amenities. Robes and slippers were provided for the spa/pools. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant bar food was great and the morning buffet was exceptional. There is a supermarket across the road and the location is perfect for day tripping to all parts of the island. Thank you to the staff for a lovely stay:)

Breakfast was good and had plenty of variety albeit the same everyday. Spa was nice with sauna and steam. One complaint would be the indoor pool attached to spa would allow kids so it wasn’t ultra peaceful After a massage… Room nice with ocean view regularly cleaned.

The hotel was beautiful, clean, modern and the staff were excellent. The staff were very helpful in planning day trips and making recommendations and even bookings for us. Th restaurant had delicious food with a different catch of the day every day and could easily accommodate my celiac diet. The views were stunning and it was wonderful to hear the ocean while eating at the restaurant. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Fabulous property. Location is fantastic in quiet Ribeira Grande. Easy to get to all parts of Sao Miguel. My only advice is that if you come for the outdoor pool, it is very cold, and days with sun are elusive.

We had such a lovely stay at this beautiful hotel. Our room on the second floor had a fantastic ocean view and we really enjoyed relaxing in the indoor spa pool and sauna after a day of exploring the island. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this resort!

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Verde Mar. Exemplary service from check-in to check-out, especially from the front desk/lobby, bartenders & wait staff. The pools, game room & sea view room were amazing. The delicious, well appointed breakfast buffet overlooking the ocean was a wonderful way to begin each day before hiking & excursions. Terracotta restaurant for dinner did not disappoint. We’d vacation there again for sure!
