Nice to start off with an extra 50 electric miles when heading home… There is a Tiki bar diagonally across the street. Was traveling with a 4 year old and immediately had concerns with loud music… but no issue as we had a room just in the front door to the right.. once both doors were closed we didn’t hear any of the music. 「Great for quick stop with family」

「The pictures in the add were false. There weren’t any gardens or suites. This is a bare bones motel. It is clean but there are no amenities. There is a coffee pot but no coffee. There was a refrigerator but no ice cube trays. One towel and one washcloth per guest and a teeny bar of soap. No one in the office —had to call a number and then someone came to give you your key. Steep outside steps if your room was on the second floor. The only mirror was above the sink. Very disappointed.」

「My 10 day stay at PortD’Hiver B&B was a real pleasure. Great location, great rooms , great breakfasts, great staff, and quite possibly the best cookies I’ve ever had !! 😊 I only wish they had a restaurant on the premises, but there are several within a short walking distance. I’m looking forward to staying there again.」

「Would absolutely stay here again. Quick check in, hotel is newer and rooms are elegant and simple. Bathroom very nice and bed extremely comfortable. Great area you can walk to the Sprouts right across the parking lot and seemed like a safe area. Literally only thing I would change if they have those awful cheap one cup coffee makers that never work right.」

「Hotel manager said this was an apt not a hotel? I stayed over a month and Housekeeping came twice. They gave us a hard time asking for towels and toilet paper and using the brooms and mops. I though this was a long stay hotel?」

I am so pleased that I have found this wonderful hide-a-way and will absolutely return. It is not your usual place but if you value authenticity and charm then this would be the place for you.
