"For an international type hotel, hardly anyone spoke English. I understand I am in another country but we had to use a translating app to get the simple questions answered. During our stay, there was a lot of rain. It was noted in the gym and the lobby the roof was leaking significantly. Other than that this day was good the beds were comfortable and the hotel was near enough to everything that it made our overall stay enjoyable and would come here again."
"it is a design property in the downtown centre, which is convenient. However, the signage, in particular inside the room is terrible. It takes time to work out what button is for what. It is not internationally standardised but a uniquely designed and developed most likely by the hotel. And that is the problem. Guests tend to be tired after flight and just want to settle in and relax. Yet, it takes ages to work out how the buttons work and are responsible for what, which can be frustrating.
While the staff are helpful, if guests seek assistance, but who want to call the staff to seek assistance if you can self-work out?"
"The Conrad Beijing was amazing! Summer and the rest of the staff were very friendly, warm, and accommodating for our family. We enjoyed a great meal and drinks in the main restaurant one of the nights and had great service and excellent food! Great location and very comfortable for our stay in Beijing!"
"Good location, it’s on Wangfujing street, with walking distance to tiananmen square, forbidden city, Jinshan park, and Beihai park. Close to subway station that takes you to other site view as well. Very friendly staff too. We didn’t try the breakfast at the hotel, because there are a lot local breakfasts restaurants nearby at a cheaper price. Also very good restaurants for Beijing dark and Beijing hotpot nearby as well. The hotel has a swimming pool, so my kids got to enjoy it in the afternoon after morning site view under the hot sun. Overall, very recommend if you are looking for a location convenient and close to every thing."
