「The hotel and services were excellent and the grounds and scenery were stunning - beautiful views every where you looked, . The staff were brilliant, extremely pleasant - very attentive and personal. We experienced a slight miscommunication between the hotel and spa on our last day, but the staff at the spa did their best to accommodate. Would highly recommend both hotel and spa for a relaxing break.」

「A lovely country house hotel. Our room was very spacious with an outside patio where we enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine. The bathroom was large with a bath and a shower. We ate in the “Tasting Room” and very much enjoyed the tasting menu. The area outside the hotel has pleasant area with tables and chairs which we enjoyed as it was a warm sunny day. The hotel is quite expensive, but we thought it worth the money. The spa was OK, small and a little tired but we enjoyed our swim in the pool....

「We had a lovely stay!!!! The room was spotless, beautifully decorated with all.the amenities and added extras you could wish for!! The pub itself was lovely - clean with friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Two nice outdoor seating areas, and the beer garden itself was fully enclosed - great for dogs and kids. Hotel and pub were dog friendly. Breakfast was lovely with a good choice of hot and cold offerings! Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again!」

「What a great find! Visiting the area for a gig & decided to have 2 nights away. The Great House was a last minute booking but what a wonderful place! Idylic riverside setting in a small village with lovely bar & restaurant. Staff were all very friendly, from the lady who greeted us at reception & upgraded our room to the fabulous housekeeping - the lady with the ted hair deserves a special mention as we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with her!!! 「Fabulous hotel. Clean fresh beautifully decorated rooms. Relaxing ambiance. Huge bathrooms fluffy towels and great shower. Bed so comfortable. Lovely welcome gift of home made cakes and sweets. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious, staff all wonderful. Highly recommend, we will return! 」
