We arrived a bit before check-in time so had a drink in the bar, shame they do not sell Guinness. The staff were excellent and made sure our 2 rooms were ready quickly and we were able to check in a bit early. The rooms were clean and well presented. After check-in they booked us a taxi to take us into Henley for an evening out and we used the same taxi for our return later in the evening. The staff were very friendly and efficient.

Never I have I booked a hotel that doesn't have breakfast available, no staff even on duty until midday. We had to walk nearly 2 miles to a local shop just to buy breakfast things. Nowhere in any of the details of the hotel booking process does it say they dot serve breakfast. They even have a sign out the front saying 'bed and breakfast' they told me they stopped doing breakfast some time ago because they apparently didn't want to pay the extra wages. They should explicitly say there is no breakfast upon booking. A huge inconvenience and others need to be aware so hopefully they read this.

I stayed at the Bell and Bottle Hotel for a week and found it to be excellent value for money. It's an Indian restaurant with guest rooms on the second floor (no elevator). The room and bathroom were spacious, and while there was no air conditioning, the fan kept the room comfortable. The Wi-Fi was a bit weak, but everything else met my expectations. The service was friendly and reliable throughout my stay. The hotel is in a quiet rural location, so I relied on Uber for transportation, although it can be expensive in the UK. Keep in mind that when the restaurant is closed, guests need to use the back entrance. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, and I'd be happy to stay here again.

The room was quiet even on the main road side with a very comfortable bed. The location was excellent for our needs and included lots of free parking. The WIFI didn’t work very well in our room and we couldn’t get online at night, but were able to connect in the morning. The hotel includes an Indian restaurant so there was a strong smell of curry throughout the property.
