This is one of the many beautifully restored old homes in the colonial section of Newport. Once run down and close to abandon, it has become increasingly fashionable the past 20 years or so. Most were built between 1700 and 1800 and bear the names of original owners and dates constructed (plaques next to front doors on ea house). Incredible part of American history, and makes for a lovely walking tour.
