Kalkaska 2 Stars Hotels

Very friendly and clean.

This is a unique and very nice property. They have a ton of extras on property. The rooms are nice but as a small suggestion, some type of counters pace or top in the bathroom would be helpful and there's room. Also a reconfiguring of the shower . It would be great for a large group traveling together with everything they have to offer. The location is also great.

Great place to stay, clean, bed was great very comfortable. Price was amazing and the staff was superb. Fantastic breakfast too.

Upon arriving we were pleasantly greeted by the frint desk staff with friendly faces. Bridge was the kindest and most welcoming front desk agent my wife and I have ever met. She asked us where we were coming from and how our journey was. We explained we came from Gaylord, MI which was/is nearly entirely out of any power. She expressed her heartfelt care and concern for all of us affected by this terrible ice storm. She explained where everything was, who to call/talk to if we needed anything and...

This was a really quiet place to stay, and even though I got there really late on the first night, they had taped my key and a little note to me on the office door so i could get into my room. That's small town hospitality and I like it!

Excellent stay, beautiful area

Super clean and great staff, very professional and friendly!! Will definitely stay here again!!

Nice hotel

The staff were very friendly, the room was clean and the overall stay was wonderful and very relaxing.

Very clean and well appointed! The beds are comfy and the shower had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. We didn’t use the hot tubs/sauna or cold plunge but they looked nice! Close to Bellaire and Mammoth (which is my fav as I don’t drink beer or cider so Short’s really isn’t the appeal to me for drinks). There’s other places too. All within walking distance. They asked that we put trash outside, pile towels on floor (which I do anyway) but I shouldn’t have to worry about trash at all...

We love the location just past all the row of resorts. We loved the bay view! Room was nice and clean. Communication was easy and respond time was very short. Easiest check in and check out process. Our puppy was allowed and loved it too!

Weekend getaway with my wife

I originally booked this room for my significant other and I to have a romantic night but unfortunately he was unable to make it. As soon as I walked in the room I was immediately satisfied with my choice, I will definitely be booking this same room for him and I when he is available! I invited my friend to stay with me for her birthday and we had so much fun, we had a true girls night like when I was a teenager! We listened to music, we stayed up all night talking about boys and eating pizza,...

What a nice place! We’ve stayed here twice now once in the fall- Sept and once in early June. Both times were great. The staff if very nice and helpful with whatever you need. The rooms are clean and have a comfortable bed with a microwave and small fridge. The showers are a little small not much room to put hair and bath products but it’s workable. It’s the VIEW!! the rooms have a spectacular view of the bay which you can see a beautiful sunset at night! We will be back!

I enjoyed the clean property, prompt responses from management, and the dog-friendly property.
