Stay at the Low Quality Inn in Gaylord for a similar experience (minus the 4 false fire alarms) at a much more reasonable price!
The front staff were very inviting on initial arrival, yet lacking in adequate problem-solving once the fire alarms started going off at 11PM. After the 4th alarm and no compensation for an apparently known issue, we left. Had we been informed the building was experiencing a faulty alarm system, we would not have checked in!
The room (and hallway) was equally disappointing in cleanliness as there were leftover hair shavings on the toilet from the last guest, the shower lining had grime, the bathroom fixtures were rusty, and the linens had visible dirt spots.
Our stay rate was roughly $280 for 4 hours (1 hour actual in-room time) before leaving at midnight. If you're staying overnight in Gaylord, just go with Hampton or Fairfield.
