"Our room was exceptionally clean. We had a three bed room. The staff was more than helpful for anything we needed. My family of 5 stayed for 5 days and when we went to eat the staff gave us a discount on the meal and some free dragon fruit. It was a few minute walk to public beach access. "

"We have stayed at Sunrise Village several times now and really enjoy it’s relaxing ambiance. It’s a small, family run place with a very pleasant little pool, and nice gardens. The rooms are serviced every day and they do a really good breakfast with a huge choice of Vietnamese or Western food. It’s directly opposite the beach but it’s not a particularly wonderful beach so the pool is a very essential plus. At end of the road is an excellent food court - one of the best I’ve ever come across...

"Great little family-run hotel - really nice friendly, helpful folks who can organise trips and onward travel. It’s down a quiet lane across from the Ham Tien beach. This is the original fishing village with lots of the local coracles so perhaps not the world’s most beautiful but the hotel has a nice little pool and lovely gardens to relax in. Another plus is the excellent International Food Court at the end of the lane & several restaurants along the beach. Good ambience and excellent value...

"Hotel is okay but dated. Pool is nice but slightly shaded and no beach as it backs onto A sea wall. It’s a bit out from the main restaurant/bars (25min walk) okay if you have a motorbike. Staff are friendly mui ne only worth 1-2 nights unless you want to kite surf. "

"It is a walking distance (about 600m) to the fisherman wharf whereby there is a long row of seafood restaurants. There are several seating arrangement outside the room and hotel lobby that is conducive for people to gather and chit chat. The staff are friendly. However, I like to caution all that when you make payment for the room, remember to demand an official receipt. I paid on arrival but receive a message the next day after my departure from the hotel that I left without paying. I forward...

"Good price, very good daily clean, laundry service was good, close to the live seafood restaurants. TV was not always reliable, but that may have been down to the local electricity supply."

"Nice little hotel on the main road, not far away on motorbike from the beach, shopping and restaurants. Pagoda is also not far away. Hotel is fairly new or they has just repainted it. Spacious small rooms and only downside is that they placed the switch to bathroom light behind the tv. And windows can not open but aircon is really effective."
