"The property is beautiful and in excellent shape. Customer service is outstanding from every staff member at the hotel. It's a very family oriented hotel and is pretty quiet and calm. There are several restaurants, snack bars, and cafes that offer a variety of dining options that are very good quality. The area where the hotel is located is in the hotel beach zone that is very safe and walkable. Not that you'd need it but there are a couple of grocery superstores nearby for any necessary items. "

"We booked this trip last minute and so glad we did! we usually do all inclusive resorts with big groups so this was the first time just my husband and I & we loved it so much. We weren’t expecting to stay busy throughout the stay whether it was water activities, dining, fire dances, music around the resort but every day there was something new. Truly such a memorable trip. "I can't say enough great things about this property! I am so glad we chose RIU Palace, it was everything and more of what we had in mind. The views are stunning! The entire place is immaculate, they are constantly working to maintain the place and it shows. The staff.....everyone is so amazing. Friendly, quick service, totally there to make guests experiences the best they can. I would absolutely recommend this resort. One tip, no jewelry at all on the water slides. I wish I would have known this in advance, since my husband and I weren't comfortable leaving our wedding rings unattended we had to take turns going down the slides with the kids. Not a big deal, just good to know in advance. "
