I was not happy that we were not told we could not smoke anywhere on the property until after we arrived. Most resorts have dedicated smoking areas; this one did not. you had to walk a half mile until you were no longer on the property grounds in order to have a cigarette.

I want to start off by saying my husband and I love the secrets properties. This was the second secrets property we have stayed at. With that being said, secrets Cabo is a beautiful property and even more beautiful at night. We were welcomed with wine and even offered more. I would say overall the customer service was great. Our room was nice and clean but found it to be very dated and the bed was hard. We always book a swim out and the swim out was nice. We tried all the restaurants except EL Patio which I overheard guest saying that was their favorite overall, however for the price I paid I’m not complaining about the food. My food options I picked at the restaurants were good. Loved the omelets for breakfast at the Market Cafe. We really liked the Rendezvous Bar. Having only one main pool is crazy to me considering the size of the property. Entertainment could have been better in some aspects. Overall I would rate Secrets Cabo a 3.5 out of 5 stars for outdated rooms, entertainment, and only having one main pool. Even though I had a swim out I did hear guest complain about having to come early and reserve a chair because people would put towels down. Overall our stay was good.

Staff was great, food was great and overall a very good experience. Big problem that besides dinner and a couple evening activities, it’s basically dead after 6pm. Not much of a nightlife time. Also, please stop pestering people who have already paid to be there by offering “free” items to sit through an additional point presentation.

This was a nice resort but imagine my shock when the bartender told me I could only have 1 shot a day. Yes they were limiting everyone to 1shot a day at an All Inclusive!! Sorry but when I pay for an All Inclusive I don’t want someone monitoring what I can and cannot drink. I’m not a big drinker but I like tequila mango shots thru out the day. That did it for me. Only other negative is that the rooms were very dark so ladies good luck in putting your makeup on.

It is a nice resort. Secluded. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Food was not wonderful but okay. If you are a smoker - this is a non-smoking resort…only 2 smoking areas outside of the resort. Spa was good.disappointed with spider webs in our room.

My wife and I came back to Secrets Cabo for the second time to celebrate our anniversary. The staff is extremely accommodating, intentional and kind. Special shoutouts to Romero who served us by the pool all week, Ivan from the preferred club bar, Antony from Portofino and Ivan from the entertainment team who all made our stay special and took great care of us. We hope to come back soon!

Unbelievably well kept! Property was immaculate! Great food options and food was actually above average for an all inclusive… Adults only was a plus. The preferred rooms gave a lot more amenities such as a private infinity pool and pool side brunch at the oceana every morning which was great!

Although the hotel is a little older, everything was great. Service and staff were amazing and food was good. The black sand beach was incredible!
