We stayed at the Royal Solaris in Cabo as a family of four with young kids and overall had a really enjoyable experience. The biggest highlight was the staff — consistently friendly, welcoming, and polite throughout our stay. A special mention goes to Rena and Cesar at the kids club, who were absolutely fantastic. They created such a fun and engaging environment that our kids were begging to go back every single day, which made a big difference for us as parents. Food was another strong point. The buffet offered a good variety with reliable quality, and there was always something for everyone to enjoy. The snack bar and pizza area were also great options for quick, casual meals in between activities. There were a few downsides. Our room door wasn’t very soundproof, so noise from the corridor carried through quite easily. Being on the first floor meant a lot of foot traffic at all hours, which could be disruptive, especially at night. We also used the on-site restaurants three times — while the food and service were good, the experience felt a bit rushed each time. Lastly, securing good sun loungers was logistically frustrating. Although the hotel says not to reserve before 8am, it wasn’t strongly enforced, so most prime spots were taken unless you were up around 6:30am. Overall, it’s a great family-friendly resort with excellent staff and solid food, but a few areas could definitely be improved.

Pool on both areas were great, plenty room. Jose Luis at the pizza oven serves the best freshly made pizza, it outshines the buffet. Servers at the bar are awesome, Raul made sure my cup was never empty. However.. specialty food like the evening bbq left half of the people waiting in line in the scorching heat without a meal. Fortunately i got a plate but felt bad for everyone else. Some nights at the buffet, the food “ran out,” the head server said unfortunately thats all they were serving.

My family and I had a great time at Royal Solaris. We really enjoyed our stay. We loved the amenities and staff was great. I do feel that the chairs by the pool are not enough and if you don’t grab one super early you are stuck holding your stuff. We saw a lot of people reserving them early in the morning and then when I tried to leave my stuff in one someone removed my kids life vest and left them on the ground. Not sure who removed my stuff but I felt I was unfair as I had seen so many people reserve the chairs the days prior.

We booked an all-inclusive through expedia. Flight was cancelled the morning we were to leave. We’re left hanging with no room and neither expedia or the hotel offered us a room. Had to pay out of pocket. We spent over & above with spa packages & meals throughout the week. Hotel couldnt even give any discount & soaked us to stay one more night for next flight out. Very disappointed. Food was mediocre at best as well. Would never stay again.

Family friendly resort, with a nice waterpark for younger kids. Staff is very friendly. Beach area is clean and we were able to find loungers most days. This was our 3rd time here and we noticed a few differences. Resort now uses an app but the activities listed each day don't match what is actually offered and we had trouble finding these. We felt there were less activities and interaction with the entertainment crew, although the evening shows are still very well performed. And if you don't "reserve" a chair by the pool by 7am, it's very hard to find one. We enjoyed the restaurants but found the kids menu to be very limited with only the same 3 options each evening.

Propertynwas clean, staff were fantastic and very friendly. We had an partial ocean view room. My onlyndownfall was nightly entertainment but i have been at some resorts that are over the rop with nightly entertainment. If your looking for a laid back relaxing time this is a great spot!

The hotel is very good overall, super clean, and the staff is super friendly. Great for families with children, very family-friendly. The all-inclusive system was the best I've ever experienced. The only downside was that I forgot to leave my wallet in the safe and $40 disappeared from it, but it was my fault for not putting it in the safe anyway.

Hotel was great! Restaurants were good, buffet was great. Bars served good drinks. Couple places could use new carpet and the play area for the kids could have better Astro turf. Will definitely come back next year.

Despite promising to be accommodating to my diet, they failed repeatedly to properly mark the food in the buffet, so I constantly had to ask staff which foods were safe for me to eat. The rooms were also not cleaned unless you left at 8am on the dot.

The room was clean, the staff were incredibly friendly and polite. The view was nice, they had nice beach party the first night we stayed in. The sad part was not able to able to swim in the ocean. As far as food, it was okay not the greatest. We did end going out to eat few times.

Great value hotel. Pool was excellent with a short walk to the ocean. Staff was friendly. Several restaurants on the property to choose from along with the buffet. Entertainment nightly. More of a child-friendly atmosphere. Rooms were clean.

Overall very impressed. The biggest concern was that you cannot swim in the ocean here and we didn’t see this overtly listed in the Expedia advertisement before booking. Nevertheless the pools were great and we still played on the beach with our toddler. Great crafts for kids as well.
