"The rooms were spacious and clean, but if you’re planning a break from the cold to enjoy a warm indoor pool, you may want to consider another option. The pool is kept at 84°F, which isn’t ideal for kids. Our children were shivering and their lips even turned purple after a short time in the water. At first, we thought it might just be us, but every family who came into the pool area shared the same concern. The hot tub quickly filled up with kids because no one could stay comfortable in the pool for long. This was especially disappointing since the main reason for our trip was to use the pool. The rooms pictured on Expedia are deceiving. Our room was not updated as pictured. The room description stated furnishing would vary, but did not emphasize that it was not updated like the pictured room. The pictures also showed an oven, but there was no oven in our room. The resort has no kids activities for kids."

"The Hot Tub was really nice we all enjoyed in it. Pool had balls to play so everyone had fun. Food was nice n big portions could not easily complete it. They need to provide complimentary breakfast instead of paid buffet. Also reception desk should never be left empty someone always needs to be present to attend your clients. One time there were two receptionists at desk but they were busy talking with each other and when I was trying to get operator on phone from my room no one picked up. Also the housekeeping are around the rooms and even if told do not clean the room unless we tell at reception to be cleaned while we are out for couple of hours. Location wise good everything close by. Nice fire pits for families to enjoy snores together and arcade for kids so everyone has something to keep them busy. Thanks to all staff for keeping us entertained and well served. Would love to go again in Summer. "

"Loved it , I booked this trip last min due to my kids not telling me they was soon to be on spring break(what happened to April !) the price for 4days/3nights was great .lobby was amazing,rooms was spacious and wonderful(one bedroom villa) have everything You need in the main building ,my kids loved the fire pit outside the villas .we made s’mores (purchased s’mores kit in the lobby store ). Only thing wrong was the tub was stopped up so they had someone fix it but made the shower not work so that was that ..rate 9/10😊"

"The mattress was very uncomfortable they did flip it but said it wasn't old enough to be changed out, I slept terrible both nights, they did offer to switch rooms but we were all unpacked and only staying two nights!"

"The staff at the front desk was meh. Housekeeping was great! Rooms are beautiful and very clean. 1878 restaurant was so bad. Do not eat there! Ugh. We gave it 2 tries and each time was a bad experience. The staff was okay, waitresses but the food…yuck. The pool and staff were great! The ground were clean the gift was okay, but a snide young lady working there that acted like it was inconvenient to helps us. Otherwise, we thought it was great! "
