「I like the quiet area, but didn’t expect not to have any pots for cooking my food. As a traveler last thing to pack was pots to cook and a coffee pot or water kettle to make coffee. Front desk receptionist mention is an extended hotel, Um I have stayed before on extended hotel that actually provide basic essentials. 1pot, 1coffee maker , sponge and soap to clean up. Providing this can potentially create more revenue. Compared to selling the pot set for $35.00. I understand some folks stay long...

「Check in with expedia booking was a nightmare. The staff did not know how to connect the payment, delaying check in for almost an hour with me having to do the legwork with Expedia. She wanted me to pay again! Finally resolved, we checked into our room. The toilet made a strange noise and when another room showered, the pipes were so loud you had to leave the bathroom door closed. Breakfast spread was the best of our travel in affordable hotels, but the lobby had a strange smell that lingered...

「Room was clean. The shower leaked onto the floor. Must be an ongoing problem because the wall had some water damage . Other than that, it was clean and comfy, close to restaurants and easy to find off the highway.」

「Beautiful property from the lobby to our room, we were very impressed w the decor and overall feel of this property. Our room was exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. Staff attentive to everyone. Food was standard fare plus the fixings for carnita tortillas which was delicious. I hope our travels bring us back to Ankeny!」
