「Staff friendly. We paid for a suite but didn't have a couch as previously when we stayed and paid for a suite. We have sleep issues so get a suite to help with that. Plus my husband wanted to watch NCAA basketball on a couch not the bed!!!! We stayed in February and the swimming pool was closed. It still was closed. Grandkids were looking forward to swim!!!!」

「Ac made a terrible noise. Button in elevator broken. Cover for ac controls just fell off in my hand. Remote control for tv didn’t work. Room had an unpleasant smell. Hotel was dated and unkept. 」

「As soon as you enter the building, there is an overwhelming sewer smell. The man at the desk was not at all friendly. I am used to staying at the cheapest motels I can find and don't expect much, but the smell was hard to endure.」

「Best hotel. The property is very clean and nice, like a newly completed building. Their pool and hot tub were great to relax and enjoy. Their breakfast was wondeful with variety additions like strawberry pancakes, everything bagel etc. There are different restaurants and other amenities nearby. Will definitely stay there again when visiting Des Moines.」

「Check in was handled well, clerk was friendly and gave my dog a treat. Breakfast was very good, hotel seemed new and area was happening, with an outlet mall across the street and nice restaurants within walking distance. 」

「A clean and safe place to stay in Des Moines, especially by the airport. They also offer a park and stay deal, for those who need to fly out but leave their car somewhere. The staff were extremely kind, but we didn't have a pleasant experience with the lady running the breakfast in the morning. She could have been tired, but was short with us trying to make a waffle. The rooms are outdated, but in good condition for the most part. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub area, which was also...
