「Beautiful old hotel in a walkable neighborhood. A/C was wonderful on a hot day! Breakfast was delicious. Bed was very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again. 」

「Everything was very nice. There was some cosmetic issues in the bathroom specifically the sink area, chips and etc, also the kitchen area had the same problem. You need to do some fixing on the counter tops. There were no silverware in the kitchen. Only dinnerware. The pool was very nice. The staff was great. Would definitely stay again.」

「This was a lovely hotel, very close to the Skywalk, which is an amazing walking network, connecting much of the downtown area - safe, secure, and climate controlled. I was in a tournament at the Iowa Events Center and it was an easy 15 minute walk - no car, no hassle! The staff were friendly and helpful. Des Moines has a lot of construction going on.」

「Very clean and modern suite room. Free full breakfast and free Mon-Wed cocktail hour with hot food. Rooms were very quiet and blackout shades were excellent. Five minutes walking distance away from downtown dining district and sports locations. Full-sized refrigerator and even had dishwasher, stovetop, cooking implements and dinner setting for four.」

「Very quiet in a newer residential area. Within a mile of restaurants. Close to Grays Lake for an evening stroll or bike ride. Shuttle service to take you anywhere within 2 miles of the hotel. Nice continental breakfast area. Used the pool, hot tub and fitness center- no issues with anything.」
