「‘Immaculate’ That’s a joke! This property was dreadful, messy and filthy, unsuitable for renting and definitely not appropriate to be advertised on hotels.com. The kitchen was grimy, the oven very dirty, the cooker hood thick with grease. There was old food stuff in several of the cupboards and even chicken left in the freezer! The sink in the bathroom was not cleaned properly, there were nasty brown stains on the bedroom furniture. The shower was taped up with sticky tape and the extractor in...

「A fabulous place to stay if you have any business event to go to at Champneys . very well thought out, a lot of fabulous extra touches that meant we didn't need to bring anything. Berkhamsted is close by and has an amzing selection of places to eat. It has great parking and in a nice setting. We had a little struggle with their agent not sending through the arrival code instructions but it was quickly sorted out over the phone. will definitely stay here again.」

「We had absolutely no heating. I tried several times to contact the owner by email, messenger and by phoning her. No reply. I had been in contact with her regarding check in via email and messenger, I even sent a photo of the temperature in the house. 10 degrees. I had to source 2 radiators myself, which a kind neighbour lent us. I would like a refund for our inconvenience 」
