「The staff were very welcoming at this hotel. The room was nice and big but there was a strange doorway up some steps to our room in an annex. Parking was very tight so you have to be a confident parker and access to the car park is along a road at the back of the hotel. The restaurant meals were fantastic - super quality, so much so that we didn't venture elsewhere for our evening meals. For me they were 10/10. Breakfast was ok - for some reason it didn't come above ok compared to the evening...

「Very nice location peaceful and quiet well appointed room, lovely walks, the continental breakfast a little underwhelming, evening meals are very good, the charge for the dog seems excessive as the room was not hoovered throughout our three day stay, internet and tv very patchy. no hot water at 9am when Hotel is fully booked 」

「Fine for my one night stay. A little bit dated but reasonably near to the town centre and with its own parking. Nice breakfast including vegan options. Very friendly staff. I can’t comment on the bar and restaurant as they were unavailable due to a large private party but the hotel warned me in advance and, at my request, suggested nearby places to eat one of which I used. 」
