「Elm Grove is quiet and surrounded by countryside. The hotel has a tennis court and Croquet on the lawn. We had a lovely meal on our first evening, but they don't serve meals every night. Our room was large and comfortable and a dressing room was a bonus. Highly recommended.」

「Breakfasts were superb and staff were really friendly and helpful. They clearly enjoy their work and it came across as a happy working environment which makes the guests stays all the more enjoyable. The only slight negative (of which nothing can be done) were some squeaky floorboards but, otherwise, the bedroom was comfortable and clean. It says a lot about the Broadmead that everything was great except for a couple of silly floorboards.」

「The cottage was well located, well equipped and had some lovely little touches such as a bottle of wine on arrival, milk in the fridge, tea and coffee provided. Our children enjoyed meeting the various animals and the setting was very convenient and quiet. We were however disappointed to find on arrival that the previous occupants dog’s excrement hadn’t been cleared from the garden, a task we had to undertake before allowing our dog out (and there was more than one!).
