「This was a lovely place to spend a weekend. The room we stayed in was very ample and relaxing. The staff was superior and engaging. 「My fiance and I have stayed here multiple times since we me over a decade ago (and he and his family stayed in the 90s!). It is a perfect location to get away from the city and just relax and there is entertainment nearby and on property for the whole family. The amenities and grounds are a little dated but that just adds to the New England charm, in my opinion. The Hilltop restaurant has solid food and amazing service. You're in close proximity to Lake Winnipesaukee, about 30 minutes away...
