From reading other reviews, I expected a “cozy, family friendly” place that warranted the 4.6 stars that were prominently displayed. What I got was a rundown, cramped room, with brown water coming from the hot water faucet; a dated bathroom with mold in the caulk; an angled toilet and sand paper TP; a filthy bathtub shower with a gross yellowing shower head; and a large TV with a picture that only fills up about 3/4 of the screen and a remote that doesn’t let you do anything but change channels and volume. And forget about the “breakfast.” Grab and go literally means milk, oatmeal to cook in your room, some gross cheese danishes, and canned mini-juice cans, assuming you get there before it’s all snatched up - which happens quite early even when there was almost no one at the property. Terribly disappointing for the price!
Also, beware of the switch - I was switched from a 2nd floor 2 Queen room that I reserved, to a 1st Floor room looking out to the garbage dumpsters “because they needed to move my reservation.” No reduced cost/credit, no “sorry”, no-nothing, and since the reservation was pre-paid (NEVER DOING THAT AGAIN Expedia) and ski passes already reserved and paid for, there wasn’t much to do about it. Over all, it was just not the “cozy, family-friendly place” that the earlier reviews made it out to be, and there are definitely better options available for the price.
