Our check-in was lovely. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and given the run-down of how to get into our room, the availability of snacks and coffee, and what to do if we need help after hours. The room was spotless and incredibly well updated. It felt very high end for a privately-owned hotel. The water pressure in the shower was great and the water stays hot. We’ll definitely stay again if we’re back in the area.

We stayed at the Moultonborough Inn for a few days in early December, when we were in the area photographing a wedding. This motel was an affordable option for us, and only 15 minutes from where the wedding was taking place. I can't say enough about our stay. The lobby was warm and welcoming. It was decorated nicely for the holiday, and soft Christmas music was playing. The owner Donna was sitting behind the desk, and she too was warm and welcoming. We chatted a bit about the property, and after a quick check-in, she mentioned that there would be tea/coffee, oatmeal cups and homemade pumpkin bread available in the morning. Perfect! Our room was on the 2nd floor (there is no elevator), and was immaculately clean, modern looking and comfortable. Donna really put a lot of thought into the room not only with decor, but with providing simple instructions (for ceiling fan operation, TV operation, etc). There was a microwave, refrigerator, table for two, dishes, silverware, coffee maker, etc. Anything you could need or want, was there! The hot water was plentiful. Noise in the inn was minimal. We would HIGHLY recommend this motel, and look forward to visiting again someday soon!

Nice Place to Stay, By Mountains and Lakes
I enjoyed my all-too-brief stay at the Moultonborough Inn. I am familiar with the Lake Winnipesaukee region, having vacationed in the area when younger. Was visiting family in Laconia, so chose this Inn not too far away. Alas, my departure from home was delayed, so I only had one, rather than the two planned nights at this Inn. During my time there, I just "chilled" and relaxed. Very comfy and cozy room, with a nice kitchenette. A grocery/convenience store is next door. Had "brunch" up the road at "The Village Kitchen" (I highly recommend). And what is a stay in Moultonborough without a stop at "The "Old Country Store?" Very cool. Many thanks to Doreen and Donna, and the housekeeping staff. Great hospitality, and tasty blueberry bread at departure! I hope to return in the future for a longer stay. Thank you!

Affordable and comfortable.
The price was right. The person at the front desk was very warm and welcoming. When I asked about where to eat she told me of the of the best choices and gave me a printed list. The room was clean and comfortable and the bed slept well. The fan in the bathroom was extremely loud but that was a very minor thing.
