「First I want to say that I love that this hotel is not all modern and shiny. I love the lighthouse decor and the quilted, homey comforters. The views of the lake are great and it’s right on the Mariner’s Trail. All but one of the staff members that we met were great. That being said, I really wish the would do some “infrastructure” upgrades. First and foremost, new mattresses and/or at least, bed springs. Water saving toilets would also be a plus. 「When I arrived, I was a little worried as it is an older hotel and just didn't have the curb appeal of most hotels. I was pleasantly surprised. It is an older hotel that appears to be in transition and trying to be updated. Don't get me wrong this is no 4 or 5 star hotel but it was clean, in a great location and the front desk staff was kind and courteous. For the price, this hotel was perfect.
