"This is a typical motel where you can park right in front of your door. Seen in many towns or out in the country. The bed was very comfortable and they had great towels. I was surprised that we paid $160 for it. I suspect that it was due to hotels/motels filled up on a Friday night and cost went up. the check in is automated and I was not used to it. You can also call a number there and they are quick to answer and help me. I would go again if less expensive"

"The Lighthouse Inn is very old and dated, but it’s great! These types of places are what my husband and I like. The location is right on Lake Michigan, we slept to the sounds of the waves, it was lovely. Breakfast is included, cooked to order in the restaurant that has excellent views of the lake. There’s a small beach and the hotel is close to businesses downtown Two Rivers. Stay here if you like nostalgia and great views!"

"For many years I have driven past the Algoma beach motel. This is my first time staying at Algoma motel and I must say it was such a quiet, charming motel situated with the most beautiful location. Right on the beach with multiple pits for fires on the beach to make every night perfect. Amazing all around. The only thing I would add to help the facility, staff, or future goers is when the lake flys are out in force please provide more than a dollar store fly swatter. I understand there is nothing that can be done and it comes with the territory given the location but man do they really swarm and with a flimsy fly swatter you do feel kinda helpless."

"Lovely location! Listening to the water lap against the shore as we fell asleep was wonderful. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and seating area. Great water pressure in the shower! Wonderful breakfasts each morning. Enjoyed hearing the stories of the other guests and the hosts."
