"Johnathan was a huge help with many things. The property is 300 years old, so that needs to be kept in mind when booking. It is also up a pretty steep hill (we felt stronger by the end of our stay). The only downfall was the lack of air conditioning during the last UK heat wave. This was a charming stay that we would do again."

"We had a lovely view of the river from the spacious family room. It was the most comfortable bed of our entire trip. We also did the whiskey/brewery tour which was nice to have it so close to our stay. We hadn't been able to fit in a whiskey tour elsewhere. Many restaurants were walkable. Great location."

"This is a beautifully maintained building with so much character and personalized love put into it; we loved our stay! It is slightly off the “path” of larger hotels, making it perfect for us. It is so close to town, we easily popped over a walking bridge for dinner and then found the best cafe for breakfast. The room is such a great use of space fitting our family of four, with two teens, nicely into one room with enough space and amenities to meet our needs. The bathroom is so cute and perfectly fitted with a sliding door to make great use of the space. The personalized touch in the decor felt like a warm hug welcoming us to the Highlands. My absolute favorite aspect is the windows from our room! They opened to the sounds of the city and are so beautiful with an old wrought iron railing in front bringing the home’s character into our space. We liked the consistent communication from the owners, particularly related to the check in. Though the directions and notes made the contactless check in seamlessly easy, I wish I could meet the owners to express how much we appreciate the homey stay in Inverness. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer."

"I really want to give the place five stars but there are several issues the we encountered during our stay. 1. There is no customer service. You can't call the front we have to walk there from another building. No conditioner in the bathrooms. 2. The only luxury in the place is the space. It's spacious but not luxurious. There's a very steep stairs to the upper room 3. There was construction on the road. The windows don't seal and my two kids had to breathe asphalt fumes and we had to hear the beeping sound of equipment and heavy compactors all afternoon. The staff said the fumes are perfectly fine to breathe and offered no other resolution or anything else to make up the inconvenience. Other than that the staff is very nice and the service and restaurant food is excellent. But when I booked a room on what appeared to be a river side quiet place and got a subpar apartment with construction and no room service it was quiet disappointing."
