A beautiful property steeped with history. We enjoyed our room, our view of the loch behind and time at the bar and in the dinning room. The staff was kind and friendly. The food was excellent. It was the perfect stop on our journey through the Scottish Highlands. Would happily stay here again.

Gorgeous property with excellent bar and restaurant. Beautiful grounds. Friendly staff. Our room seemed quite dated though, especially the bathroom, and there was a plumbing issue with our shower cutting on and off while we were using it.

This was my first trip to Scotland, and my first trip overseas. This property was perfect for this solo traveler, and to be honest I really could have been happy just staying at the house the entire time. Each morning and night I ate there was a culinary dream, and my room was filled with ambiance, as I awoke each day to a view of the lovely Beauly Firth. The staff were friendly and helpful without being overbearing. The property was gorgeous, and I enjoyed magical walks through the trees each morning. Would definitely choose again!

Nice place. Amenities little out dated, but well upkeep. Good food for dinner and breakfast, just don’t be in a hurry. Our television did not work and they expressed no interest to try to fix.

Not an up to date fully modern hotel, but that is part of the charm. Staff very attentive and helpful without being intrusive. Lovely grounds and a good view of Beauly Firth from the North side of the hotel. Rooms on that side always booked well in advance. It would be ideal if fruit was provided in the rooms or as additional items at breakfast. Maybe to take with you for lunch if out and about.

The brakfast and dinner was amazing, more than 5 stars. The huge parc was amazing too. The house with the sea view is perfect. The service was incredible good. The only thing I complain about is that the rooms and bathroom need to be renovated in his right old furniture style.
