Perfect 2 night stop - or longer!

Joan was very friendly in greeting us. Our room was a good size with a good ensuite (be careful of the very hot water from the sink tap), beautifully co-ordinated soft furnishings/pictures, lovely breakfast. A perfect stop for our NC500 trip.

The room was really nice, the bathroom big enough and with window and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! Everything was very clean. You can walk to the town centre within 10 min, this is also very good. We would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this adorable B&B — Culliss House! The owners went above and beyond to make us feel at home, even taking the time to drive us to the train station early in the morning not before serving us a delicious breakfast. The place itself was cozy, spotless, and full of charm, with thoughtful touches that made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommended to anyone looking for warm hospitality and a perfect home away from home!

Big bathroom

Generous sized room with the biggest bathroom we have yet encountered after 3 weeks of travelling the UK. Lovely breakfast options too.

This is a fabulous place. The host, Joan, is so helpful, giving us advice on transportation, walks, etc. The room was clean, beautifully decorated and spacious. The location is great and the walk from the train station was not strenuous for two 70 year olds with roller bags! Other reviews have mentioned the breakfast and we agree…wonderful! I give this place an A+

What a great stay! Joan and Bobby are the perfect hosts. Easy walking distance into the city. The house and our room were pin neat and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Can’t imagine a better experience. Thank you!

Joan was very nice even when we were four hours late booking in. She was a little bit cross which was understandable. We stayed two nights and everything was great, lovely and clean, good breakfast but watch those plates they are very hot

What a gem! Joan was a great host, house is very well maintained and clean. Our room was spacious, clean and had an ensuite with a flash new bath. Breakfast, which was included, was awesome. Nothing was a problem and helpful travel hints provided were spot on. Short walk of less than 10 minutes to pubs, restaurants, shops. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved staying here, it was a short walk into town. Joan made us feel very welcome she has a beautiful b&b. Rooms were very big and spotlessly clean, ensuite was lovely with free toiletries. Joan makes a lovely breakfast, nothing is to much trouble for her. Unfortunately when we arrived we were soaked it had been pouring most of the day typical Scottish weather, Joan very kindly put our coats in her airing cupboard to dry and let us use an umbrella to go back out. We would have no hestation to stay here again.

Excellent location , walkable to town ,the bus and train stations . Our room was spacious with a large modern en-suite . Breakfast was great , lovely to have a smoked haddock option too . Perfect hosts , friendly and helpful . We loved staying here
