"Breakfast pretty simple. Basic."

"I think the people were nice. The place was clean. The rooms were good but could use Kleenex in rooms. I’d say the less-than-perfect score is due to the construction workers there. It seems like a group of men live there that work construction and seem to have taken over a bit. They’d hang out outside of their hotel rooms and were somewhat loud. Didn’t make me feel super comfortable. They were fine and no problems but it just felt weird to me. "

"The room was clean enough. The bed was extra soft which may be good for some folks. There were bottles hanging in the bathroom that should have had soap, shampoo and conditioner. They were empty. One of the amenities I was most looking forward to using was the hot tub and the pool. Both were closed and looked as though they had been for some time. Just don't LIST THINGS that don't work! I didn't use the breakfast. It looked ok. Mostly bread and waffles and coffee but slightly better than the usual pre-packaged Danishes you would find at many places. Overall, you get what you pay for."

"This historic property had wonderful antique furnishings, several nice common rooms, and the room we stayed in included a very large, well appointed bathroom. The manager was very welcoming and helpful with suggestions for nearby restaurants. "
