「Hotel was great! Only complaint I have was the breakfast staff. They were overwhelmed and needed more help. We ended up leaving and eating somewhere else. Coffee shop was very cute, and great food, but also overwhelmed at the counter. In their defense it was Memorial Day weekend. Other wise it was a great place to stay!」

「The location was perfect for the attractions. Staff was helpful and courteous. The room was very clean. Will stay there again.」

「Great place, very clean and the view was beautiful. Only downside was they only had 3 handicap spots and the paid parking was a very long walk. They had valet but we like to do it ourselves. They didn’t have enough bag carts and wanted to put you on a waiting list to get one. Also, only had elevators at one end of the resort and it was a very long walk to the gulf view rooms.」

「Good hotel with a side view of beach. They charged extra for breakfast and parking and did not have a coffee maker in the room or an alarm clock. Parking was very crowded with a lot small spaces designated for compact cars (duh) instead of a all standard size spaces. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. They are building a new hotel on the side so there will probably not be any more side beach view rooms after this year. All nearby restaurants were exorbitant with all but one place in gulf...

「Condo was very clean. Had dishwasher detergent (2 loads), liquid soap, wash machine detergents (2 loads); sample size Shampoo, Conditioner, hand soap, and lotion 2 of each. Seemed to have ample dishes, silver ware, kitchen utensils. Table with chairs and 2 lounge chairs on the patio. Steps from the pool or gulf. Sugar sand beach. Walmart, and a liquor store about 3 blocks away. The outdoor space was very quiet after 5 pm. 」

「Room was nonsmoking but smelled like someone had been smoking in it nonstop for weeks! No other solution from staff. My son’s asthma was horrible after one night. The water was also brown in the shower. 」

「We had an excellent experience at Island House Hotel last week! Traveling with two toddlers can be stressful, but the staff made everything so much easier and took a lot of that stress away. Housekeeping was amazing, the views were chef’s kiss, and don’t even get me started on the restaurant — absolutely perfect. We already can’t wait to come back next year!」

「I felt the hotel need to be updated, I had read somewhere that it was newly renovated but it was not. There was only one working elevator for everyone even the cleaning staff to use for the first couple of day so that was a very one wait at times. Room was clean but just old with broken chair not able to sit in.」
