「This is a motel not a hotel, that was hard to tell from the pics. It was fine for a night. It smelled like stale cigarettes, like the kind that is in the walls/paint and no matter how much you clean it just lingers. It was not the cleanest either. We had to use the sofa bed for our youngest and it had crumbs and hair under the cushions- bed was clean inside though and we had fresh linen for it. Walls and floors seemed surface clean. 「The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. The manager and frontdesk people are all very nice dealing with unexpected situation in a very prompt manner. There is cable TV in the room. The AC works very well. The window view is pleasant.」

「Who got to decide the design of the connecting room and the 0-sound-proofed wall must be a genius that loves to sleep with the noise and talking and laughing until 2 or 3 pm Except this everything is good. Great view great pool great location. If you don’t mind the noise, go. 」
