Before my arrival, I received an email asking me to complete online check-in and note any preferences. I clearly requested a quiet, higher-floor room. However, upon check-in, I was assigned a room on the first floor next to an exit. Around 4 a.m., people were constantly opening and closing the door, and the noise made it impossible to sleep.
I went to the front desk and was moved to a room on the second floor, but unfortunately the air conditioning there was very loud and could not be turned off, which again made it difficult to rest. I had to return to the front desk once more, and only then was I moved to a room on the fourth floor. By the time everything was settled, it was already around 6:30 a.m.
What was disappointing is that if a quiet room on a higher floor was available, I don’t understand why it wasn’t assigned in the first place—especially since I had clearly noted my preference and was staying for several nights. Additionally, in the final room, some of the power outlets were not working, and there was a brief water outage during my stay.
I do appreciate the night staff for their help and willingness to assist, but I hope the hotel can pay more attention to guest requests and room readiness in the future, especially for longer stays.
