"We had an awesome trip! This time was a girls trip, we left the men , the kids , and grandkids at home ! Everyone was so nice ! Our room, aka our apartment, was awesome! "We stayed in Megs Boarding House for my birthday weekend. Didnt help that it rained and a cold front came thru. But didnt stop us from utilizing the pool. I dont think id stay in megs boarding house again though and would definitely upgrade to a newer cabin. But glad i got to experience staying in there. "I finally made it to my room a bit late. I had some quick issues with the temp and television settings. I sent a text to Jim (the owner), and he helped me get comfortable for the night. I loved the personal touch you do not see as good as in large hotel chains. Personalized touch with better shampoo, had wet wipes to use, little things like Listerine to use. I met Jim in the morning and thanked him for all the great hospitality. Very nice and genuine man."
