「The downstairs is a bar at night, keep that in mind if on a family trip. If staying on the back side of the hotel the bar smoking area is on that side, and the conversation noise can be a problem.」

「This was a lovely hotel to stay at! The room was decorated so cool and the bed was super comfy. If you stay you must eat dinner there too! We had the Ranch salad which was amazing and the hamburger was simply delicious! Grayson was very helpful to us…love that southern hospitality! 」

「The room was clean and the proprietors were very friendly, kind and helpful but the property is a bit run down. Bathroom recently renovated, though, and the beds were fine. Towels were skimpy. A fine, relatively inexpensive place to sleep for one night.」

The staff is very friendly, the rooms (linens, bathroom, shower) were extremely clean, & the outdoor area was relaxing, quiet, & welcoming. Nice, fresh options for breakfast and within easy walking distance to the famous Fredericksburg downtown. Safe area with no worries about walking after dark. I will be back!」

「Room was super nice and very clean. The decor was quite pleasing. The communication was perfect. We drove in late to the property and the ease of locating our cabin was perfect. After loving the cabin from the beginning the comfort and quietness only added to the experience. The morning brought chirping birds and a cool breeze on the above cabin deck, accessible by a nice little spiral staircase. Excellent place to enjoy a cup of coffee. Location is perfect ; just minutes away from downtown...
