Get your reservation ahead of time because they limit the number of visitors per day. The hike to the pool is easy but bring waterproof sandals or water shoes because the beach area at the pool (and the bottom of the pool) is crushed limestone and it's hard to walk on.

Popular places to visit

Reimers Ranch near Austin Texas is perfect for tubing, swimming, and rock climbing!! Be prepared to supply your own shade if you aren't going in the water, it gets hot as hell lol. There's also a bunch of toothless carp, so if you sit still you can enjoy a free pedicure!

Krause Springs is situated in the center of Texas and has the most unique waterfall and swimming hole. Best on a hot day since the spring water can be pretty chilly. The rope swing is an added bonus.
