"Staying at Il Villino was an excellent experience. Barbara and her family/staff operate a lovely bed and breakfast that is like an oasis in the middle of a very busy city. Our room was maintained impeccably . We had a view of the Duomo from our window. The breakfasts were amazing - including bacon, eggs, croissants, cheese, pastries, fruits, cakes and Canadian like coffee. The main floor offers an authentic and beautiful Italian courtyard where you can have breakfast or enjoy a glass of wine...

"Unlike almost every other hotel we stayed at on our trip, the AC worked well to combat the steamy days! Also, the staff was amazingly helpful in finding us a transfer to the airport during a train strike. Will stay here again for our next visit."

"The staff were so accommodating and helpful. Especially patient and kind to my daughter and granddaughter at check-in when I was unable to arrive until much later. Communication between us and the hosts were timely and supportive. The staff who changed the towels and bins was also very pleasant and patient. The apartment was even nicer than anticipated and beautifully clean. The air conditioning worked well and was simple to figure out. We would definitely recommend this as a place to stay in...

"Staff was very friendly and breakfast was great. Location was awesome with everything important in short walking distance. They now do an online check in which was a little confusing because there was some conflicting information in what they sent out, but staff was there anyway when we checked in during the day which was smooth."
