「The La Fonda is a beautiful old hotel. Paying for parking in the rear was so worth it. We came and left frequently, going to historical sites and Taos Pueblo. We were able to sample some local cuisine in the hotel restaurant and the owner was very informative, telling us about the history of his people and the foods they prepare(d). 「I had a very pleasant stay at the Taos Inn. It’s close to everything and carries the old charm you just don’t find in cookie-cutter rooms. The character of the inn is a true plus. A meal at Doc Martin’s is a must, and don’t miss a late patio visit with a cocktail while people-watching the patrons of Taos. The Taos Inn is now a must-stay on my return trips.」
