"The breakfast was very extensive with local and American options. I would definitely choose to make sure the breakfast is included. The spa was great - about 42.00 per hour. I got a facial and full body massage. The kids had lots of activities to do. We did Batik painting and we didn’t have time but we would have done the ATV, archery, jet ski and paintball. The beach is not really a thing here but the private infinity pool and scenery makes up for it. The property is large and you can summon a ride on a golf cart anytime. Overall this is a great relaxing resort and you can’t beat the price as an American tourist. Don’t expect American resort standards and you will be happy."

"Oakwood has always been our first choice when we visit Batam. Best location right next to Grand Batam Mall where you have access to everything from eat to groceries and girls’ shopping. The hotel itself is fabulous as well, clean room, great amenities, yummy breakfast. Will be back, of course!"

"Only about 10 mins from Batam Ferry Terminal. There is nothing much around the hotel. But as Grab is very affordable in Batm, it makes up for it. Hotel room is clean and everything is well maintained as I think they have just opened in 2025. Breakfast is good with an IndoMie station."

"Amazing if you want peace and quiet. Note that there is no aircon in the living and dining room. Only bedrooms had AC. Would have been better if they provided chairs at the balcony. If you want to enjoy the balcony view, you’ll have to stand. Walk over to nearby Turi beach for a better pool and sandy beach. Stayed 3 nights, family."

"The hotel was clean, and the staff were absolutely excellent—courteous, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was great, though the pool is quite basic. The only issue we encountered was with room amenities. We traveled as a family of five (two adults and three kids) and booked two connecting rooms. Since there were five of us, I requested just one extra pillow so everyone would have one. However, I was told that hotel policy requires an additional nightly charge per extra pillow. It felt like a bizarre policy to charge a family just to have one pillow per person. Aside from this strange hidden fee, everything else about our stay was perfect. Location was excellent, 3 mins walk to ferry terminal."
