So far dis hotel is great to stay.its more to family oriented hotel.breakfast is great.lots of variety.swimming pool is at ground floor.its open to public.its great for kds but not for us the adults.gym look great for workout..
This has been my go to hotel in Batam. Service is great as the staff are always ready to help you with your luggages and shopping bags when you arrive at the hotel. Room condition has gotten quite aged over the years, a make over and renovation will be great.
Rooms are very clean and the atmosphere in the hotel compound is peaceful. Very suitable for people who are not into crowded areas with loud music nearby.
Morning breakfast also has a wide range of selection and the restaurant is well maintained.
The staff in the hotel are helpful and provides great services even after we checked out and made some additional requests to utilize the hotel amenities.
The apartment-hotel was generally clean with very good service. Relatively accessible to the main shopping area. Breakfast was good. Staff was responsive - even asked if I wanted to make up my room in the afternoon when I left the DND sign.
However, do note that the hotel is right next to the road so the road noise is quite loud, even later at night.
Loved the place the moment I stepped into my room. The room was huge and the bath tub was a plus. Everything was just so clean and proper, like many of the 5 stars hotels that I’ve stayed in.
The gym was gorgeous too, equipped with all the state of the arts equipment. The only disappointment I had was that the spa is only massage rooms. Would have won even more brownies points if there’s jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.
I’ll definitely stay here again in my future visits.
3bedroom apartment Master room toilet long bathtub only, gets wet when one bath. No place to put toileteries when bathing, not user friendly toilet. Hotel staff service is very good, we always stay Astons only
Am not impress with the old and a little filthy bath towel,bathroom and bedroom are good size, relatively clean(could be better) ,staff are attentive. The manager response was swift and highlighted that is time the hotel replace all old bath towel cause it reflects on the hotel strive for cleanliness.

Room is alright. There is an international electrical outlet for your plugs. No usb outlet. Buffet's good. I love the herbal bar. Gym's good, big, though rowing machine spoilt.
I came for their tub. Though they fixed it the hot water came out like piss at first. Made me not wanna use the tub anymore.
Had an enjoyable stay in ASTON. I requested for a cake for my hubby birthday and it was right in the room once we checked in. Hotel room was clean and spacious. Bathtub also clean and big. Location was beside the road so sometimes can hear a bit of the traffic but it was acceptable for us. About 10mins drive away from Grand Batam Mall so very convenient. Hotel breakfast was superb also, rarely see such a spread for hotel breakfast. Taste was good as well. Overall, highly recommended this hotel and we will go back stay the next time :)
Aston Batam has an amazing array of staff who attended promptly to all our requests. We stayed in a 3-bedroom residence apartment. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. There was an air conditioner in each room, and they provided a large 20L water cooler. The swimming pool was large enough to swim laps, which we did every morning. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety to satisfy even the pickiest eaters. All Grab drivers were familiar with the hotel's location. We had a fantastic time in Batam, and Aston contributed to our enjoyable stay.
There were two minor issues with our apartment; the room and bathroom door locks did not lock seamlessly and the certain had a tear. As stated, these were minor.
Greeted with a smile from the frontliners. From security to reception very welcoming. Well done. During checking in process, i was told that their system was having some issues and im told to wait. 45 minutes later my wife check with the reception staff and finally we are able to check in and straight to our room. Cleanliness was good. Im impressed with the wifi connection. Breakfast was not bad but was not good either. Was at the dining hall around 6.10am but some of the live food station was not in operation. Food choices is okay but there are still many room for improvement. This is my first time here and i hope it can be better next time . Overall its a pleasant stay. I hope i can see some improvements if i return for another stay. Keep it up.

Junior suite is not good
We stayed in this hotel a few times but this is the first time for junior suite which happened to be in the apartment side. The cleanliness and maintenance of room is not up to standard. The plates and cutleries are dirty and no dishwashing liquid provided. The fridge doesn't get cold. There is no hand towel and bathrobes. I had to call 2x to get it. The design of the bathroom is bad. There is no division between the lavatory and the shower. I'm always worried the water will get to the hairdryer. The drain is very slow when you shower so there's water everywhere. The wifi password indicated in the room card they provide you during check-in is not correct.
Staff in the reception area are friendly, no issues there. The check-in/out is fast.

My family and I booked the 3BR apartment for a 3D2N stay at this hotel. The apartment was huge and overall comfortable but there was a few points to bring up for this stay:
1. Due to booking from Expedia, we weren't notified that we could communicate with the hotel using whatsapp. Hotel did not respond to message on expedia with regards to possible arrangements for pick up at ferry terminal.
2. Wanted to dine in at Gravity 10 for dinner on 22 Mar but was informed by Gym staff that bar would only open at 8pm. The bar was supposed to open from 6pm and we were left with no options but to dine out for my brother's birthday.
3. Checked on pool options with the front desk but was informed that the pool was for residents only. Would be good to clearly indicate this on all your 3rd party booking apps to avoid disappointment for your guests.
4. We went for massage on the last day of stay to find staffs busy on their phones. While the counter staff did attend to us, she did not mention that there was a waiting time as there were no staff available yet.(it was 11am) my mum and i waited close to 10mins with our clothes off to find out that they were waiting for 1 other masseuse to come in to start. No disposable underwear was offered to us until we requested for it. The massage service ended with no tea/hot towel. While leaving, we saw multiple masseuses lying down on the floor of their staff room on using their phones.
5. TV options were limited and some channels had no signal.
The staff as a whole is extremely friendly, helpful and professional, everyone included. The buffet breakfast is very substantial and delicious. Location of hotel is excellent. Every where you want to go is just a short Grab ride away. The Grab rides are safe and affordable.

The hotel staff were all very friendly, and the three-bedroom apartment was nice and clean. The only issue was that the air-con was a bit noisy.
