「Lovely surroundings. Our room was cozy. Nicely decorated but carpet could have benefited from a shampoo. En suite very small. Shower small if you are not very thin! Window seat only sitting option which was ok if not closing curtains Lovely food in the evening. Breakfast average and not great selection for continental. All in all though we would definitely return but would book larger room」

「Pros: close to train station and restaurants, great breakfast (semi-buffet), value for money Cons: room is a but dusty, and some rooms are located in between 2 floors so you need to climb a few steps with your luggage, rmb to send a note to the hotel if you carry heavy luggage to avoid such rooms.」

「We had a lovely one-night stay here - the owner and staff were super welcoming and helpful, and we enjoyed a great breakfast in the morning. We were in one of the attic rooms, which involved a bit of stooping on our part, but it was a lovely room all the same!」

「Bathroom could do with a touch of paint as there was a damaged part on the wall. It had been touched up, but not fully. The hotel info on the TLV didn’t work either. However, the desk staff were friendly and really helpful. I would stay here again but a bit more attention to detail would make a big difference.」

「Great friendly welcome from all the staff, Room was clean with excellent facilities, The Oak Room serves very nice food and has a good selection of drinks and the prices are very reasonable, again the service was attentive and friendly, I have no hesitation booking a stay here again, and look forward to coming back 」
