Great location and very helpful staff. Hotel needs some cleaning and updating but it worked fine for my business travel. Plan on getting coffee offsite as the hotel coffee situation is less than desirable.

This property feels like one of the last standing resorts from its glory days. While it could definitely use some extra upkeep, it wasn’t a bad place to stay at all. The charm and unique location made it feel more like an experience than just a stay. Staff was limited, especially with dining hours, but there were plenty of great food options nearby to make up for it.

Tub drain backed-up, no shower liner, coffee station's sugar and creamer were ancient (creamer was solid, sugar was all stuck together). Bottom drawer of the dresser was broken. On the good side, nice sized room, clean, very comfortable bed. Bathroom and room cleaniness was good!

There was a wild music conference, but we were put in a part of the hotel that was quiet. We felt nervous when we arrived. The room smelled musty, but appeared clean. The couch was very old and needed replacement. Staff was accomodating.

Place needs to be updated. Room was big and dreary. A/C ran all night and the water spout for the tub was pulled away from the wall an inch. Lots of carpet everywhere. Beautiful grounds and conveniently located for the area though. For the price I'll most likely not return if other Hotels are available.

This hotel is unique but a lot of untapped potential. It’s currently quite rundown. The room itself was clean and dusted, but the shower and toilet could have used more attention. There was no fridge or microwave in the room, but you can request them. The pool view area gives off a tropical vibe with its plants, gazebos, and little bridges. It feels like you’re outside but it also is neglected and empty. With regular maintenance and some updates to the rooms, this place could become a fantastic destination for all kinds of groups. The staff was very friendly! I imagine it was awesome when it first opened.

We stayed here about 25 years ago and loved it. This time it is very dated and kind of run down. Holes on the lampshade, peeling paint in the halls. The staff was very friendly though, and the pool is still nice.

Staff were more than helpful. Especially Deepa. The hotel is in horrible shape. The grounds are totally lacking any work. Weeds Everywhere! We had to change rooms because a toilet leaked everywhere & could not be repaired. I got the feeling this happens a lot. This hotel should not be open. Not until it is refurbished. I know they are working on it but the place smells, the pool is awful. Dead plantings, dry leaves everywhere.

The staff was amazing and so helpful and friendly, that is where my satisfaction ended. The first room had a terrible smell, I was moved to a better one but was still dirty, run down with scratchy sheets and uncomfortable beds. Would not return

The hotel was really rustic, lake was beautiful for fishing and a little picnic. It’s nice for a little getaway, the location was awesome, it had a ton of good places to eat close by. I am giving 5 stars because of how nice staff were to us, would definitely come back. Don’t believe all the bad reviews, this place is indeed a little older than hotels but it has a nice charm to it.

Beautiful area to picnic near the lake/pond. This a beautiful hotel. Unfortunately, since Covid they no longer have a restaurant, hot tub and the adjacent restaurant has closed. There are plenty of restaurants nearby.
