「Don’t let the outside fool you. Our room along with the lobby looked newly renovated and was very nice. Only complaints would be there was an odor in our bathroom that was a bit unpleasant and if you dislike a train going by (which I didn’t notice while I was sleeping) you may have an issue. Otherwise it was very nice. A great deal for the price!」

「We love this place and the owner Jenn! We are coming back, hopefully soon! We had fun in the tavern down stairs and slept like babies all weekend in our room. This place is one of a kind! We’ve stayed at dozens of places throughout the Adirondacks and this one is by far, our favorite! 」

「Upon arrival we were given a room key to the wrong room. Despite our reservation being booked over one month in advance we were given a room in the basement. The front desk staff seemed bored with the confusion over our room key. Booked was a room with two Q beds, we were given a room with one bed. I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past and have never encountered such unfriendly hotel staff. Making up for this was the serving staff and bar staff. They were exceptional! 「Paul and his staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful! Lovely old stately home converted to BnB, with delightful breakfast next day. The suites are large and very comfortable and just dripping with classic furnishings appropriate to a late 19th century stately home.」
