"Positives Room was given to us earlier than expected which was great as our plane landed super early by the lovely reception staff. Room was very bright and light with large windows and good black light blinds for nighttime use and shades for keeping the light out in the day time. Bathroom was clean and tidy with shampoo conditioner and body soap. Air conditioner worked well and we had control over the temperature. Negative The bathroom did not have a water drinking glass No complimentary tea/coffee No bar in the hotel for drinks after a night out We did not have breakfast in the hotel but there were a lot of residents eating there so it must have been ok. Located in a good place near Little India and next to Rocher metro station (blue line)"

"Great central location.The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the property. Rooms are of a very good size and housekeeping was very efficient. Breakfast was good, although it could have been more varied and extensive. We kept Dwayne busy at the Tuxedo bar during Happy Hour and Moh Moh by the poolside did her best to keep guests watered. We enjoyed our stay at the Carlton and would not hesitate to book again!"

"This is a charming, quirky hotel in a great area. The staff is awesome. They are helpful and charming. The only drawback is the size of the rooms especially the bathroom. Both are small but the bathroom is tiny."

"Lovely large room, with a great view of the bay. Breakfast is busy, but they very quickly offer the sister hotel restaurant as an alternative. It is a short 2 min walk away. Both breakfasts are similar and have a huge variety of choices. The adult pool was closed for renovation whilst we were here, but we still made use of the smaller pool. The hotel is located in a great location. City Hall MRT is underneath as is Raffles shopping mall. Would highly recommend. "
