「It was located in a quiet historic village. The room was nice . Comfy bed , nice shower and bathroom. An Excellent full breakfast! And all for a very good price! 🙂」

「Room was quite small, but adequate. Bed was clean and comfortable .Shower and bathroom were very good. We would have liked to have a small fridge in the room.」

「The place is just a nicley kept pub, with a very good food and drinks menu + some kraft beers, our room was a little small but was clean with tea and coffee making facilities, breakfast was very good and the staff very helpful, yep we would stay there again, but in a larger room.」

「Nice good sized room and very clean. Great staff and a good selection of food.」

「Lovely staff.」

「Unfortunatly the Pecking Mill Inn was in need of a good clean. Very dated and forgotton. There were beer pumps but not in use. Cans were poured into our glasses and price was not cheaper. Food was on offer but we chose not to beat. Room was unclean. Did not use shower. Geoff was a lovely host and welcomed us.」

「Street is missing a trick. The town is crying out for a great, modern hotel with the facilities to challenge what is currently available - it would be an absolute winner. 「My husband and I had a great stay at the Crossways. The staff were amazing and so helpful, the room was spacious and food was delicious!」

「We had a lovely stay in a charming old coach house. Staff really friendly and helpful, food was really good. The suite we stayed in was adequate, clean and comfortable. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.」

「David is a saint! It was like staying with family if family isn't overbearing or meddlesome. And it's a super comfy bed. The location is about 10-15 minute walk into town center or the entrance to the Chalice Well or footpath up the Tor. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.」

「Booked a deluxe room for 2 nights. Allocated a substandard room, needing refurbishment, tired with curtains hanging off poles, dark and dingy with broken tiles in the bathroom. Staff in denial initially, eventually moved into another much better standard of room. On our departure we had no hot water. Breakfast was a poor experience too with staff in addition not informing us that Breakfast started later on a Saturday. So no breakfast that day due to our departure time. However, we attended our...

「This hotel was good value for money. The restaurant was closed in the evening when I stayed, so I had to go out for a meal, but the receptionist made good recommendations for places I could go. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.」
